At Omens Agency, I develop and maintain scalable WordPress websites for a range of clients, focusing on performance, usability, and clean architecture. I build custom themes and plugins using PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and SASS while adhering to WordPress coding standards and modern development workflows.
I collaborate closely with designers and marketing teams to translate UI/UX concepts into responsive, user-friendly interfaces. This includes customizing layouts with Elementor and building dynamic content structures using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
I implement WooCommerce functionality for eCommerce clients, enhance front-end interactivity, and ensure consistency across devices. Additionally, I optimize websites for SEO through both technical improvements and keyword strategies, and manage local development environments to support efficient iteration and deployment.
Software Engineering Intern
June 2025 - August 2025
At NIWC Pacific, I worked on real-time computer vision and GUI development for defense-related systems. I designed and built a modular desktop application using Python and PyQt6 to interface with FLIR GigE cameras, enabling live video streaming, recording, and dynamic camera parameter control.
I developed a laser detection and tracking system using OpenCV that identifies red laser motion in real time, calculates azimuth and elevation, and visualizes motion paths within the application interface.
To support flexible testing and development workflows, I implemented multiple input modes, allowing the system to operate with live camera feeds, recorded video, or static image inputs. I also integrated a weather API to display environmental data such as temperature, humidity, pressure, and cloud coverage directly in the GUI.
This experience strengthened my ability to build real-time systems, work with hardware-integrated software, and create intuitive user interfaces for complex technical applications.
